POP ART

I really loved working on this project because I love pop art. Creating this piece took along time, but I loved every minute of it. I selected a photo of my friend Eris from our ad photos (see previous post entitled product photography) and converted it to a black and white pop art layout using Pixlr. Taking

colours from a popart photo imported from the internet, I filled in the photo of Eris. It took me three classes periods to fill in and smooth out all the details of the photo because I wanted every single part to be perfect. The hair definitely took the longest to work on because of the two blue colours. The eyes and brows took a long time to fill in because of the many white spots that coudn't be filled in with the paint buket tool. Below are the different stages of creating the photo begining with the first colours I filled in.
