Product Photography

The latest project was on product photogrpahy. I decided to do mine on makeup. I asked my friend Eris to model for me and she agreed. On Thursday we took the photos. I applied the makeup, which took longer than expect, but I got it how I wanted. We took the photos and later on I edited them, adding the company's logo.

This photo shows all the makeup, so the buyer can see an adverstised look that can be created by that brand.

For this photo, I focused on the lips. The lipstick is whats trying to be sold here, so there's no backround distractions. When a person looks at it, they will be drawn to the lipstick shade.

Here I focused on the eyes. Like with the lips, it's close up so there aren't backround distractions. I brought the colour out in the eyes some, so people would be drawn in with the captivating stare. The eyeliner is what's being sold, which is applied in a bold way.
